YES breastfeeding hurts and there is some pain in the begining but if you just hang in there, you ARE doing the right thing, your breastmilk is exactly what your child needs..not formula, no matter what nurse or doctor thinks they know, formula is not always the answer, formula was invented for motherless children, and modern women have just taken it to a extreme. formula is excuses now for women with breast implants who cant breaastfeed, for women who dont bond with their children and drop them off at daycare as small infants. i understand womens want to be independent, but your babies health isnt worth the extra hours at work DO NOT USE FORMULA!!,.
