Early morning March 26th (my darling son’s due date to boot!) I woke up and was having sharp pains in my belly, like I had to pee and hadn’t in months so I got up and tried to pee and couldnt right away so I’m thinking I am having a bladder infection. Well, this went on for a few hours. Once at 5, 6, 6:30, 7am… All I could think was I am going to be so sick come Wednesday for my induction because I am going to have a bladder infection on top of labour… then it hit me…the pains I was having were contractions (DUH) and I started to get nervous LOL. I felt so silly. I already had a child so this shouldnt be new to me. it was embarrassing LOL.

Kaiden’s Birth Story

My due date was scheduled to be on November 22 ,2006 but on the morning of November 9,2006 someone was ready to come out.

My water broke at 930am and by the time I got to the hospital it was 10:30 a.m. and things were happening very fast.

My husband and I were in shock when we found out we were pregnant. We had just gotten married and Taylor was finishing up his degree. I have always been drawn to pregnancy, birth, and children, so of course I was excited, but terrified at the same time.

The pregnancy went great, I felt so whole. Carrying another soul inside me is the greatest feeling I have ever felt. The last couple of months of the pregnancy were filled with STRESS. We had several deaths, my husband’s boss, my brother’s very dear friend, both died too soon and my grandma was very sick.
