Try Prenatal Pilates For a Fit, Strong and Graceful Pregnancy

Pilates is an exercise program that focuses on building the body’s core. It is like yoga and strength training rolled into one. I first discovered Pilates shortly after giving birth to my second child. Boy, I was so weak that my body felt like jello; I could barely do half of the moves. But after several months, I got trimmer and stronger. The best part was, my backaches disappeared. I also walked (and looked) taller.

When I got pregnant for the third time, I continued my Pilates regimen. It made me feel relaxed and graceful and strong, despite my growing belly and shifting center of gravity. There are many prenatal Pilates programs available. Read the following article for a good introduction about Pilates.
